How to acquire an image with a pci-1407 with an external signal

Hi, I have a pci-1407 image adquisition board and I'm trying to snap an image from a remote location.
What kind of signal is needed for do that?
Is sufficient to generate a single pulse and send it by the trigger conector, and use imgSessionWaitSignalAsync in the program for snap operation.
Can anyone help me?

A TTL 5v signal is required for the trigger line of a 1407. As long as you have good cabling and are able to keep your signal clean, you should be able to transmit a trigger signal for a significant distance.
