Hi,
I have a NI USB-RS232/4 convert and have installed NI-VISA 4.1 for
linux in my Suse 9.3. When I run visaconf, serial port (COM1) on
motherboard could be found. But when I tried to manully add usb-serial
ports as static resource, it always display "STATUS of DEVICE:
uncertain". Moreover, NIvisaic can not find static ports.
Did anybody use the converter in linux? It will be very very helpful if
you can give me a guide of how to install and configure converter!
