How to connect an FCB-IX47P to IMAQ 1411

As Mike has suggested, I have used a connector CN301 with the Y Out on pin 4 this is luminance and C out on pin 2, this is chrominance. I have connected this to the S-Video connector on the 1411. But, I have got the following mssge: Can't detect recognisabl source nd there is no image that appears on the screen.
I dont know why? Is thre anay power to supply to th camera or what is wrong?
I am excpecting some help.
best regards

Hello,

Thanks for using National Instruments' Discussion Forums.

The camera you are using appears to have both Y/C (S video type) outputs, and composite video in the form of a VBS output. I believe I have found its user manual here:

Manual

In one diagram on this manual, it shows that the CN301 connector has C output and Y output on pins 2 and 4. You can connect these, along with their ground to an S video connector.

If you do not want to use an S video connector, you should be able to use pin 6 as a composite video signal and input it to the BNC input on the 1411.

Hope this helps,
