I've installed IMAQ and connected a CCIR camera (the Thermo CIS 8712D1M black and white CCIR camera) to the front panel BNC connector of my NI1409 frame grabber.
When I right-click on the N11409 device in MAX, I can choose RS170 cameras only and no CCIR cameras. How can I control CCIR cameras?

Hello anna,
try to reinstall the driver, because you should be able to select the correct standard, for your camera, in MAX.
Potentially, you may want to try it on another machine too.

Dear KIM,
Firstly, I would like to point out that I'm using a RT crate. I don't know if it can make a difference.
Yesterday I've downloaded from NI website Vision 8.6.0 and I've installed it this morning.
Now I'm running MAX 4.5. Looking at the crate software from MAX I see:
NI-IMAQ RT 4.1.0
NI-Vision RT 8.5 (it says no available version on the "host". Is it right?)
If I cannot my hardware and I try to control it by MAX, I still face the two following problems:
- if I right-click on the channel ->Camera->Standard-> only the RS-170 option is available, no CCIR.
- if I right-click on the crate, or the "devices and interfaces", or the "IMAQ" icon, or the channel... in any case, I don't have the tool "Transfer FIle" that I think it's needed to transfer to the crate the camera files..
Where am I wrong?
Regards
Anna

Hi Anna,
I don't know what you exactly mean with "crate", but if you're working with an RT target from your machine, then you should be able to see the target in MAX under Remote system.
Then expanding the target tree, you'll see the voice "Software". If you right click there, you can see "Add/Remove SW".
CLicking on it, you'll see the list of SW available on your host pc, that you can download to the target.
That is, you have to install LV RT, IMAQ driver and all the SW you need on your target, in your host pc first. Then you can download it on the target, because you'll see it in the list (After clicking "Add/Remove SW").
Hope this can help!

KIM

this is exactly what I've done!
I enclose a picture of my MAX window: perhaps, you can see where I'm wrong!
thanks!
