How to detect and fix when camera link signal is out of sync?

What type of CameraLink camera are you using (model number)?

Does this random data dump only happen when you are triggering at the problematic frequencies? If so, it might be a symptom of the frequency issue. Your code looks good which is why I’m wondering if it’s a symptom.

Yes - the extra output frames only happens alongside the frequency issue. I'm just confused why, in any case, old data would be marked as good. The camera couldn't be outputting old frames, as I don't think it has a buffer, and the framerate is reported at 400+ Hz, which is faster than what cameralink can handle, I believe.The camera is the VDS Vosskuhler NIR-300F.
