How to do barcode reading using NI CVS 1454

i have NI CVS 1454 module with me. I have a basel camera attached to it. What i want to do is to make the module read barcodes. How can i do that. I need to start from the scratch.

Some basic questions i need answers for are.

1) is the programming from CVS done on labview? or is there a separate module for it.

Please i would appreciate if you can give me a string attached to which i can start my work.

the above two manuals is all that you required to setup the CVS ...once everything this is in working condition check the examples .NI CVS comes with shipping example of BARCODE ...see that example ....
