Hello,
I'm working with two basler cameras and i need to find 3d coordinates of an object. I found out that i shoud use stereo vision library, but it doesn't work as i expected.
I tried to calibrate stereo vision system using Calibrate Stereo Vision System.vi, but after i configured two Vision Express VIs to grab from my cameras, i still get an error that says that i need to configure to grab from two diffrent cameras.
Can any one give me some advice on how to solve this problem?
Also, any hints on acquiring 3d coordinates with the use of two cameras are more than welcome 🙂

Hello,
try searching the Machine Vision forum for the NI Stereo Vision related posts. Try also:
Check the example provided by NI on how to set up your system. If you want to calibrate the stereo system (intrinsic and extrinsic parameters), check here:
Also check this:

For the general idea/theory behind stereophotogrammetry, there are a lot resources on the web. Check NI Vision Concepts Manual and OpenCV's stereo documentation.
Best regards,

Hi sapm
I suggest you use probe to find out the real error as picture followed
It maybe you couldn`t connect to your camera. Do you use GigE Vision camera? Remember close your fireware!

Hi sapm
Do you use probe after vision acquisition express VI to detect the real error?
