How to overlay transparent bitmap on imageViewer image

I am using NI Vision Dev module 2012 SP1 with Visual Basic 2010 Express. I want to overlay a transparent bitmap over an image on ImageViewer object.  Earlier I found reference which addressed this task quite well, but I foolishly lost boookmark and I've looked all over and can no longer find it. Can someone help me?

Hi philgo,

You would want to use the IMAQ Overlay Bitmap VI to accomplish this. I found a general example that shows how this VI can be used, as well as an example that deals specifically with transparency. I hope this helps!

What exactly are you wanting the result in the image viewer to be (just one image at a time or the whole array of images)? Also, I would recommend posting this question as a new thread in the Measurement Studio forums. Posting a new thread will open up your question to even more users and therefore have a better chance of having an ongoing discussion with multiple users.
