How to select one of the same name Cameras as using IMAQ USB toolkit

Hey Vision Man,

I am using IMAQ USB toolkit to capture image from USB web camera,it works and nice, but I have two cameras, the same module, the same driver, I use "IMAQ USB Enumerate Cameras.vi" to obtain cameras names, it returns the same name, "IMAQ USB init.vi" is taking camera's name to create the reference, it means I can't select one of cameras.

how to solve this mess if I insist in using IMAQ USB driver and two of the same webcams? or, any the third software to change webcamera's names? thanks.

Try to use Measurement and Automation Explorer to set different alias for different cameras.

Thanks for your reply, it gave me some hope, and I don't know how to set different alias for my USB camera with Measurement and Automation Explorer, Can you tell me how to use this function? BTW, the USB web camera is not NI's product, can Measurement and Automation Explorer help this also ? thanks to tell the handle.

thanks lightgoal,

No, that is not my problem, I mean, because I have two web cams, there are the same module, using the same driver, and "IMAQ USB Enumerate Camera.vi" returns two camera's name in 1D array, but their name is the same, so, how can I select camera at my pleasure?
