I am trying to install PCIe-1433 in Panel PC with Windows 7. The card is not recognized in MAX.

I installed VAS(Vision Acquisition Software) 17.1 first and put the card in. Since MAX didn't see any card, I downloaded VAS 18.5 and installed it. But still no luck in recognizing the card and finding my camera. I tried to find any similar case in Discussion Forums. Couldn't find any solutions. Here is a list of information and a couple of screen images for this problem:

-PC: Panel PC

-OS: Windows 7 Professional SP1

-NI Device: PCIe-1433

-Vision Acquisition Software 18.5

-Camera: Basler raL8192-80km

I wonder if the card is physically bad or it is just a driver issue. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks.

Hello,

I don't believe this is a driver issue since there is no trace of the card in Device Manager. If it was a driver failure or missing SW install, you'd at least see some PCIe device there that either is not associated with something or has a yellow bang to indicate a problem. Can you try a different slot on the machine? If it's not in device manager, there's not really hope of resolving this.

Hope this helps,

Katie

Thanks for your response. After trying a few different tests and considering what you said, I started feeling that it could be a PC issue and decided to have it checked by the manufacturer. Once I get it back, I will try to set it up again and report back if this solves the problem. Thank you for your help.
