I want vision OCX only . What NI software or development suite I have to buy ?
Measurement studio ? or Vision Development Module ? or both.

You need either IMAQ Vision for Measurement Studio or the Vision Development Module for Measurement Studio. The difference is that the Vision Development Module for Measurement Studio also includes Vision Builder, which you can use to prototype your vision application and then generate a builder file. Please note that you do not need to purchase Measurement Studio.

I understand that item2 is include with Vision Assistant , that is why item2 price is higher than item1. Am I correct ?
If I purchase item1 or item2 , that is enough for my requirement , right ? I mean I have not to :
- purchase Measurement studio
- purchase LabwindowsCVI

Yes, you are correct. The NI Vision Development Module is more expensive because of the additional software, and you do not need to purchase Measurement Studio or CVI.

At minimal you need IMAQ Vision that costs $2500 before
tax & delivery charges. This contains the two core
vision objects plus the CWIMAQviewer.

For a VB programmer, the above is sufficient for you
to a lot of things.
