We purchased two IDS cameras model “IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH U3-33FxXCP-M.” We can correctly operate the cameras via proprietary software (IDS Peak). However, we have encountered a problem in managing the cameras via NI MAX (NI Measurement & Automation Explorer”, which we would need to use. Below is when we encountered it:
- By installing IDS Peak / Camera Drivers, the camera works properly in the proprietary software, but it also does not appear in MAX's device list.
- Without installing IDS Peak, the camera appears in the device list, however, when attempting to display the image (Grab command), it returns an error “Error 0xBFF69068 The camera returned an image that was incompatible with the acquisition configuration. Dynamic changes to the image dimensions are not supported.” . I tried changing the acquisition parameters, without success. It could be related to missing drivers.
Is it possible that you cannot use this camera with NI software?
Any suggesitons?
