IMAQ 1411 gives negative numbers

when I use the imgSnap function with my analogue camera on my IMAQ 1411 Analogue frame grabber I receive many negative values for my pixels.

If the camera captures monochrome everything is negative
If the camera captures color some values are monochrome.

does anyone know what could be causing this?
Thank you

Also when the imgSnap function is used how is the data stored?
Is it Y:Cb:Cr or RGB?

If it is RGB is it (in array form )
[Pixel 1 Red, Pixel 1 Green, Pixel 1 Blue. Pixel 2 Red...]

OR

[Pixel 1 Red, Pixel 2 Red, .... Pixel 1 Green...]

thanks again

Chico1st,

It sounds like you are using a color camera to acquire monochrome images and possibly have the incorrect camera file selected. Try changing the camera file to NTSC in MAX. Right click on the camera in MAX and select Camera > Standard > NTSC. How did this work for you? Also what camera brand and model are you using?

I am also having the same problem. My frame capture has all the colors unversed or negative picture. I am importing a video stream from a network DVR recording. Any help would be appreciated
