I am trying to identify fuses in a fuse block, and have managed to filter down to a nice black/white image with the noise mostly removed, but IMAQ pattern match is not robust (5's are identified as 3's, or 2's) and it is easy to see it will not pass a process capability study.
We have tried color matching, but some of the fuses are very close in color, so color match nor color pattern match work well.
I expected very high readings for correct fuses, and very low readings for wrong fuses (i.e. at least 300 points difference and the good match over 700), but I don't consistently get the expected values with different fuse blocks.
I checked out the example fuse block vi, and modified it for my images, but the scores sti
ll were not good.
I can e-mail the images and code if anyone has an idea (they would not attach; I think it was due to the 4.5 MB size)
Any ideas?
