If Imaq 1394 Get image VI timed out once, do i need to reinitialize the session?

I am using external trigger and acquiring the image by calling Imaq 1394 Get Image VI, If this VI got timed out once, i am not able to continue the same session.
It is giving the "No acquisition in progress" error after that. I need to reinitialize the session after getting the error to use further. Is this the only way?
