Hello
I have a problem with the astranomic camera "Meade LPI-G Advanced(monochrome).
This camera connects to a computer using a USB 3.0 cable, has directshow driver support and don't support USB 3 Vision standart. I can’t get the image out in NI-MAX. I have already installed the NIAMQdx drivers for working with Directshow compatible cameras. The camera appears in NI-MAX menu as DirectShow compatible but when I trying to interact with the camera, the NI-MAX crashes. I have already tried the solutions proposed here https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z0000019KUwSAM&l=ru-RU.
Also I can't acquire images in LabVIEW or Vision Builder but can acquire images in VLC player and other programs. Maybe someone faced a similar problem?
I found here https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000P6COSA0&l=ru-RU following information about USB 3.0 cameras:"If you find that your camera is just a USB 3.0 camera and not USB 3.0 Vision compliant, you still may be able to use the camera's driver (if it is available) and call it using the Call Library Function Node. You may then be able to bring in the images and camera information into LabVIEW and then use the Vision Analysis libraries available in Vision Development Module. However, you would then need to talk with that company if issues with the driver came up."
Unfortunately, I don’t have ability to use the camera's driver with using the Call Library Function Node because the manufacturer does not provide me relevant information.
For this reason, I want to try another method , which is described by the same link(https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000P6COSA0&l=ru-RU). This method is suitable for USB 2.0 cameras:"Because USB 2.0 cameras use DirectShow for acquisition, the camera manufacturer’s driver must be installed and configured correctly for the camera to be supported when using IMAQdx.
". Unfortunately, I did not find information on how to correctly configure the camera manufacturer's drivers.
Please help me solve the problem with the camera.
