No, that isn't what the image should look like. I'm assuming that in MAX you have the camera set to Interlaced, which is correct in order to get the data read in correctly. Since you get black lines for every other line, I would say that the frame grabber is trying to get a whole frame but either the camera isn't giving it or the cable is incorrect. The camera has two "taps", or two sets of data lines which actually send two pixels to the frame grabber at a time. One tap is the even lines of the frame and the other tap is the odd lines of the frame. Attached is the pinout for the TM-6710, please verify that all of the connections are the same.
