Is it possible to shift an image in Vision Assistant so it aligns with another?

I've been trying to use the machine vision functions in Vision Assistant to detect a difference in two images. however, the object I'm viewing does not remain completely stationary. I want to use image subtraction to find the difference but I want the objects in the images to be properly alligned to better filter out noise due to object movement rather than real change (such as the object being punctured). Is there a way to shift/move/translate the images so they match up better this way? Thanks

I dont understand why you want to subtract images for tracking. Also what will you mean by image shift. If you shift the whole image, the rest of the part you have to fill it with white or black and hence you wont get your expected output. If you mean shifting the roi then if you can fix an roi then you have already done your job of object tracking.

Why can you apply a threshold ---> Noise filter---> Particle analysis ?
