Is there a PCMCIA fram grabber card to replace PCI-1422 ?

We are taking images from a scientific camera with a frame grabber card: IMAQ PCI-1422.  We are wondering if there is a PCMCIA card version for use with laptops?

One possible solution is offered by Imperx.  First, you will need to transform the RS422 or LVDS ouput of your camera to Camera Link, see http://www.imperx.com/adapters.  Next, you will need to purchase a PCMCIA CameraLink framegrabber, see http://www.imperx.com/frame-grabbers/framelink.  Before purchasing these products, I would contact Imperx to verify that your camera is compatible with their adapter and go over how to do cable the RS422 or LVDS camera to their adapter.  Imperx does have LabVIEW support for their FrameLink cards.  I hope this helps.
