MAX does not affect the IEEE1394 camera file

Please run the attached VI and send a screenshot of your output. I am curious to see how your camera is reporting it's registers.

The VI returns general information, the shutter registers and the shutter values.

Johann

Hello Christoph,

I have a DFK 31F03, too. And it works well with NI-Imaq for IEEE-1394 2.0.1. You could see that in my attachment.
I recommand the following:
Install the driver 2.0.1 on a sceond, clean PC. Open MAX and check the shutter speed attribute. If you will still not able to set the shutter speed in MAX, conatct the ImagingSource and asked if there could be a different in the camera firmware.

Regards,
Steffen

Hello Johann,

attached you find a screenshot of my camera feature inquiry. I couldn't use your file as I still have LV 7 installed on my machine (also I installed 1.5.2 of IMAQ1394 again, to continue my work), but doesn't matter whether the features of my camera are retrieved by a VI or property node. Hope this will as well allow you to draw some conclusion about it.

Thanks for your assistance.

Regrads, Christoph
