MAX does not see PCI-8252

Hi,

i have a problem with PCI-8252 acquisition board (used with a Basler Scout Camera scA750-60fm).

Max does not recognize the NI-IMAQ device for IEEE 1394 (both connecting the camera to the board, both keeping firewire cable unconnected) . I tried to install both software and hardware, but without success.

I can see the PCI-8252 board into the windows device manager. It's name is "Controller host texas instruments IEEE 1394 compatible OHCI".

My software is updated to the following versions:

NI-IMAQ for 1394 v.2.0.5

NI-IMAQ 4.2

NI-IMAQdx 3.2

Hi Martim,

It's normal that PCI 8252 is not seen under MAX device list, since it mounts a 3rd party IEEE controller. Anyway you can see it under Windows device Manager.
