MV Blue Cougar GIGE camera

Hi all,

having a Prosilica camera fail I have just borrowed a MV Matrix Vision Blue Cougar S123c GIGE camera.

It does not appear in MAX!

I have tried all the usual tricks by checking network connections and connecting as a standalone device or part of the existing bridge network. Windows XP will provide it with an IP address with the same subnet as the system.

As I've not found any other threads concerning this brand of camera my first question is "Is it supported in NI"?

If it is supported any ideas as to what next would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Darren,

As far as I'm aware that camera is not supported by national instruments software, and form what I can tell they have no drivers available on their website. I would recommend that you use our industrial camera finder to search for compatible cameras.

I'm guessing it does not comply to GIGE standards. I'll stick to my AVT system.
