Missing attributes in Pulnix TM-1020 Camera File

I am using the NI 1428 Frame Grabber with a Pulnix TM-1020-15CL Camera Link digital camera. In looking at the Camera File for this camera (Pulnix TM-1020.icd v4.30 5/13/2002) I see that not all of the camera attributes are supported. The supported attributes are: Scan Mode (binning), Shutter control, Gain and A/D reference voltages. The particular attribute I am interested in having support for is the on-camera Lookup Tables. This includes a Linear or Gamma table, as well as the ability to load coordinates for 2-knee tables. The camera's A/D outputs 10-bits and passes this through the on-camera LUT to map to 8-bits before passing the data to the frame grabber.

Also missing is support for attributes to load on-board cam
era settings from EEPROM (e.g. any of the 10 pre-set knee tables).

Is anyone aware of a camera file with this additional support?

Hello. Unfortunately not every camera file has support for every mode of the camera. In many cases though, you can take care of this yourself programmatically. In the NI-IMAQ 2.6 driver, there are functions that allow you to send serial commands to the camera through the frame grabber board. (IMAQ Serial Write/Read). Using these functions, you can handle any serial communication that is not supported by the camera file.
