Hello,
after long debug hours I managed to get my linescan camera online. It streams nice lines and I am very happy about that. It is done on a Windows 7 PC with NI Max 5.3.0f0 and Realtek chip. When I took original National Instruments Windows XP PC with original Intel Pro 1000 NIC and NI Max 5.1.0f0 camera is still detected, but frame transmission fails. The error is 0xBFF69031 (about missing test packet). I saw this error hundred times before, when Windows firewall was not turned off. I am interested, what is the difference between NI Max version 5.1.0f0 and 5.3.0f0? Can I just update LabVieworthisishardwareproblem?
Regards,
Linus

Hi!
The communication between a GigE camera and MAX or LabVIEW is handled by the IMAQdx driver. While upgrading to the latest version of MAX is always a good idea, it most likely will not resolve your issue. For troubleshooting make sure you use the latest version of the IMAQdx driver, the latest firmware for your camera and follow the steps in this Knowledgebase:
Error 0xBFF69031: "The system did not receive a test packet from the camera." when using GigE Camera
