NI PCI 1422 error

I am trying to display my picture form a digitial cameria i have created but the board(NI1422) does not want to reconize my cameria.  It gives me an error message of 0xBFF6001F.  which says it cannot detect recognizable video source.  so i am confused on to how to fix it.  Several theroies have been presented to me but i am not sure about them. first the our wire could be going to the wrong pins.  So for verfication  which pin is pin1.

if i am looking at the port on the board.  it is shaped like this. which one of these is pin 1 \:::::::::::::::::::::::/

another theory is that the program is expecting a specific cameria type. Since my cameria has been created my me there is no type for itin the  program. is ther any way to make a configuration for my cameria. or learn what another type is wanting so i can change my cameria to give those values to the program.

thanks for any help.

Hello BobCO,
There are many things that could be happening with your configuration. I'm not sure what you mean by a specific type of camera, but you do want to make sure that you send the appropriate signal levels and signals to the camera.  So if you have an LVDS board, you want to make sure your signals are compatible.  You will need your data lines, a pixel clock, and HSync and VSync lines.  You also need to configure the appropriate camera file.  The easiest way to do this will be to use the NI Camera File Generator.  Assuming that you have the most recent version of NI-IMAQ, you should download the most recent version of the Camera File Generator (Highest version number).

I hope your application goes well.
