Need Camera Advise

I am looking at getting some CVS systems here in the plant for inspecting our LED products.  Can anyone suggest a good color camera for this system?  I am worried about the blooming of the led's and have heard that there is a difference in this aspect between CCD and CMOS.  Also, the second requirement is that I need to inspect a field of view up to 18"x24" ( I would gather that this would be accomplished by raising the height of the camera from the DUT to fit in the FOV).  I am new to the machine vision game, so please bear with me.
