Need help finding a tiny micro camera

Thanks, Bruce.  The AVT Guppy Pro is actually the camera I am using now.  The camera itself is fairly small, but adding a wide-angle C mount lens and the chunky cables and it ends up being a bit large for our appliction.  See below:

There are soooo many tiny cameras out there for home and hobby use.  And our users are scratching their heads wondering why we choose such a large camera/lens combo.  They see people on bikes with those tiny little "bullet" cameras and ask why we can't use one of those.  But I need one that can provide accurate syncing.

Also, some third part manufacturers that may have a camera in the size you are looking for are basler and point grey.

There are wide range of micro cameras available, and they are cheap.  Search up "Camera Module OV5647"    There are smaller cameras. Omnivision is a big manufacturer in this market. OMNIVISION Advanced Digital Imaging, Analog, and Display Solutions.

Sadly, Omnivision will not be at the Automate Show next week in Chicago, but there will be 109 companies showing cameras big and small. Every year I see vendors with cameras targeted at invasive medical applications; these are super tiny and super expensive. 

A lot of these cameras use the MIPI interface and would typically be converted to USB. In many cases external sync lines can be implemented.
