Non-Administrator MAX Access

Without Administrator rights, a user cannot properly access the MAX (2.0.3.17) software.
It will give a generic Windows error message and then no devices are viewable. Am I doing something wrong?

Greetings,

This situation can occur when MAX is installed by the Administrator instead of a user. For information on how to resolve this issue in both Windows 2000 and Windows XP, please refer to the following Knowledge Base article which I found on our web site.

MAX Problems When Not Logged in as an Administrator under Windows 2000

I found this article by going to www.ni.com and typing "+max +administrator" in the search box. For future reference, this and many other articles are available on our site.
