Hello,
Does anyone know what is the output impedance on the BNC connectors on the PCI1422 board?
Thanks!

Hi SRam,
Can you double check your board number? The PCI1422 does not have BNC connectors.

Hello,
I am sorry I should have been more clear about the connections. There is a parallel port like cable that comes out of the PCI card which then connects to a strip that contains 4 BNC connections. I would like to know what is the output impedance of the BNC connectors on this strip?

Hi Sram,
So if I understand correctly, you are trying to determine the output impedance of the 1422 trigger lines. Even though there are BNCs, the trigger lines are unbalanced and use a high drive-strength buffer (>10mA) without any series termination. There is also a weak pullup to +5V (10k). The effect of this is that the effect output impedance is very low, as opposed to being 50 or 75 ohm.
If you need more specific information, please let me know.
