Assuming that you are using Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (VBAI) 2.6.1, datalogging is actually quite simple. Go to Tools >> Configure Inputs/Outputs. The Inspection Output section of the dialog window allows you to configure what data is to be written and where it will be written to. For more information on how to use this feature, please refer to the VBAI documentation (Help >> Online Help). In the Index tab of the help, type "configuring inputs/outputs" and the first result of the scan should show the section on configuring inputs/outputs.
