Pin assignment of RTSI connector (PCIe-1429)

I world like to use a hardware trigger to start the image acquisition of the frame grabber PCIe-1429, but don't use the SMB connector or Camera Link I/O Extension Board.

Is there any schematic/document to show the pin assignment of  the RTSI connector?

Thanks.

Hi YSL,

Will you be generating the trigger signals from a DAQ card? This document: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/392DEFA8A72CA693862572E300651A9F outlines the RTSI pin assignments for our DAQ cards and most of our NI hardware. Let me know if this helps!

Hi Joseph,

Thanks for your prompt reply and information.

Actually I'll generate the trigger signal (from a printer port of PC) to the RTSI connector of PCIe-1429 frame grabber card. Once there is a hardware trigger event to be detected, the image acquisition will start to capture the image from a line-scan camera.

I find the document you mentioned is for DAQ PCI board. Is the pin assignment identical between the DAQ PCI and PCIe-1429?

Many thanks.

YSL

(Enclosed the PCIe-1429 block diagram FYI.)
