Problem with Vision Builder - Open previous version VI

Hello!

I'm having a problem with Ni Vision Builder 2.6.1, when I try to open a .vi made in Labview8.0 and saved with the "Save for previous version" to Labview 7.1.

In NI Vision Builder 2.6.1 when I try to open a .vi for the "Run LabVIEW VI" it gives me the following error message: "There is no VI at the path you specified", when there's a .vi there and it has been downgraded to Labview 7.1 as explained before...

The reason I made the "downgrade" of the .vi file, was a note in the Vision Builder help menu: " Note  The Run LabVIEW VI step works only with VIs saved using LabVIEW 7.1. ..."

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your reply, but the problem you refer is not the one I'm having...

My problem is not related with exporting the "Vision Builder" Inspection to Labview, but the opposite, i.e, "Run Labview VI" in the Vision Builder.

 i have found a way to solve this kind of problem, but it is not a way you can use because you don't have the LV 7.1:
- Save your vi made in LV 8 in previous version, so in LV 7.1
- Open this vi with Labview 7.1 and save it without modification
- Import the vi in the Vision Builder

We do have the same problem with VBAI 3.0.1 which accepts only VIs saved with labview 8.0.

Here we only have labview 8.5 and when we "save as" for previous version, VBAI says "There is no VI at the path you specify"
