Problem with pixel clock for 1409 and linescan camera.

I am having difficulty getting the 1409 to lock onto a video signal from a linescan camera. I have provided H-Sync (30KHz) and V-Sync (59Hz), however, the External HV Lock mode does not work. Additionally, is there any documentation describing the camera attributes for a linescan camera? Specifically, why must I specify freqencies for the external clock and external line sync when they are externally supplied?

As the document mentions, these setting are available to send to a camera that requires them.
