Problemes de diagnostique sous Max

Hello

We have a acquisition board IMAQ PCI 1411 with drivers v 2.5.5
And we have probleme during the diagnostics on the software MAX.
Indeed all test fail.
The first :
Basic control FPGA register test : Failed
>>Difficulty communicating with control cicuitry [F1.1]
Basic video decoder register test : Failed
>>Video decoder failed
Basic Trigger test : failed
>>Difficulty with trigger [C1.1]
Basic interrupt test : Failed
>>Software interrupt was not acknowlegded in local interrupt status register [F2.1]

Moreover, when we try to snap an image under Max, we have the message : " not enough onboard memory"

We want to acquire the exit of PC graphic board. Thus we use a PC - TV converter, which convert signal (SVGA-
>S-Video)

So i hope you find a solution of my problem.
And i have a another questions.
Do the diagnostics under Max need a camera or do they run well without ?

Thanks

The diagnostic tests in MAX do not require a camera to test the 1411. They only test the boards hardware and firmware. As such, if these diagnostics are failing, then it's no surprise that your 1411 can't acquire an image. It fact, your 1411 is most likely broken and you should go to www.ni.com/ask to speak with an NI Applications Engineer to assist with the repair.

Steph,

You might probably want to test the board in another computer as well. Or in the same computer go to the Windows Device Manager and uninstall->reinstall the board. Then do a refresh in MAX and try it out again. If that does not works I would suggest that you install NI-IMAQ 2.5.1 or higher in another computer (clean computer) and then install the board. If it still gives the diagnostics errors then is possible that it may be broken.

In Device Manager as well please check if the 1411 is conflicting with any other hardware. If it is, maybe the reason for failed diagnostics is there.
