Question about Vision Builder AI 3.0 using in LabVIEW 8.2

Hi all

If i install the vision builder AI 3.0. Will it observe the corrspnding sub-vi icon in the LabVIEW 8.2 blocking diagram??

Can i use the Vision Builder icon in the LabVIEW 8.2 directly. Just like install the Vision Development modules, user can select the vision subvi into blocking diagram directly.

Hello Steve,

There is no VI on the Block Diagram Functions Palette that calls the NI Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (VBAI).  VBAI is a separate, stand-alone program that must be opened independently of LabVIEW or any other Application Development Environment.  You can, however, run a LabVIEW 8.0 VI in VBAI using the Run LabVIEW VI step within VBAI.
