Hi
I'm using DAQ(6229) and IMAQ(1410).
The Hsync and Vsync is generating from DAQ(6229)
and I want to receive the Hsync and Vsync signal from DAQ to 1410 through RTSI connector.
Please kindly let me know that this is possible.

Hi Screwball,
sampling rate of this card is good enough to sample and/or detect H sync and V sync.?
if yes then you can do that.

Thanks for reply but, some NI engineer said this is impossible.
But they couldn't answer for the reason.
Is this really impossible?

Hi Alpesh Prajapati
Thanks.
In my system the IMAQ (1410) is well working now in normal connection.
The hsync and Vsync is generated in DAQ and connected to IMAQ through the provided cable (68 pin).
But what I want is to provide the Hsync and Vsync to the IMAQ through the RTSI cable to remove the 68pin cable.
Is this possible?

Hi Mr. Fah,
Please follow this link for more knowledge (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/3832)
Master signals and slave signals are the two signal types. The master signal controls one RTSI line, and the slave signals on this RTSI line use the master signal. Each RTSI line can have only one master signal, but multiple slave signals can use the master signal.
* IMAQ Master Signals: Acquisition in Progress, Acquisition Done, HSYNC, VSYNC, Frame Start, Frame Done
* IMAQ Slave Signals: Trigger Start of Acquisition, Trigger Each Buffer

Hi Alpesh Prajapati
I think the example says that IMAQ can generate the Hsync and Vsync but cannot receive them through RTSI
I want to receive the Hsync and Vsync throuth RTSI in IMAQ.
Do you think this is possible?
Please give me your idea.

The IMAQ boards are capable of sending the HSYNC and VSYNC signals over RTSI, but not receiving them. This is due to the hardware design.
Thank you,
