Should I modify the camera file to change the greyscale resolution of my Photonfocus camera from 8 to 12 bits?

Did you try to reduce the acquisition rate to see if you still havfe FIFO overflows?

Hi,

I would like to keep the acquisition rate as high as possible, but I can sacrifice the resolution (number of pixels). I have managed to run the camera at 12-bit with 128x128 pixels at 1 kHz without a problem.
