Software triggered image acquisition with RoadRunner from Bitflow

Hi,
I have a RoadRunner framegrabber from Bitflow (SDK 2.50) which I use to acquire images from a Kodak MEGAPLUS ES 1.0/10bit CCD camera. I want to use the camera in Triggered/DE mode, and wish to use software for triggering. I have played around a bit with the LabVIEW drivers available for the framegrabber. Continuous acquisition is no problem, but I'm having trouble programming a software trigger. What I basically want to do, is to use LabVIEW to acquire a series (of finite and specified length) of images at specified time intervals by sending triggers to the camera for each new image to acquire. (I cannot just grab selected images, because the camera is also used to synchronize other events upon image acqui
sition, so that I need the sync signal from camera to appear ONLY when I acquire an image, i.e. when a software trigger is issued.)
Could somebody advise me on how to make a software trigger, or send an example VI where I could see how it should be programmed?
(I use LabVIEW 5 - 6.1)
Thanks,
Michal

Michal. I assume you're not using NI-IMAQ since you have a Bitflow frame grabber. No one here on the NI-IMAQ Applications team has ever dealt with a Bitflow driver for LabVIEW or even a Bitflow frame grabber. If you happen to have another source to trigger from (perhaps a DAQ card?) then we aught to be able to program something together. Otherwise, it may be up to whomever created the Bitflow RoadRunner's driver to devise a way to control the RoadRunner's trigger lines.
