Does NI provide, or have any plans to provide, GeniCam producer .cti file(s) for their Camera Link frame grabber cards (specifically for me, their NI 1433 card) for use with GeniCam/GenTL compliant Camera Link cameras?
NI does not provide a GenTL producer for the 1433 or any other Camera Link board. As of right now, there are no plans to develop this in the future. If you don't mind sharing your application and reason for wanting this, I can pass along this information as feedback.
By providing this, it would allow use of NI Camera Link frame grabber boards to work with GenTL compliant cameras without any additional SW. Given it seems NI is a member of the GeniCam group (https://www.emva.org/standards-technology/genicam/genicam-group-members/), curious to me that it is not supported. Doesn't seem to be a lot of energy in the industry to making Camera Link a true PnP interface.
