The image flashes all the time. Frame Intgration Problems...

Hello again!!

I’m trying to integrate 5 video frames…

I have 5 images set up.  Each holds an image that has been divided by 5.  (This works and the images look fine.)

The problem is when I add all 5 of these images together and display them – it looks terrible.   The image flashes all the time.  I don’t understand why.

The problem is where I add the images up & display them (everything appears okay).

Any help/comments (or a kick to my head) are appreciated.

  My code is attached.

Thanks,

- lisa

Hi lisa

It seems to me that your problem is in the final summing of the images. Each time you call IMAQ Add without specifying Img Dst, you must be aware that the image wired to Img Src A is overwritten by the result. Thus, during the summation you are overwriting some of your five intermediate images. You should create one or more intermediate images to serve as intermediate results between the four IMAQ Add steps you are using.

That's it!  Thank you very much Vladimir!!Smiley Happy

It wasn't clear to me that if you don't specify Img Dst, Img Src A will be over written with the result.

Now it works.

Thank you so much!  (you saved my weekend)
