Hi Cherie,
A couple of things to check at the beginning of troubleshooting include the power to the camera, the connection to the 1422 board, and the camera file in use. Digital cameras like the Redlake ES 1.0 require a particular camera file to be used in Measurement and Austomation Explorer. Additionally, the most recent drivers is always a good thing. You can find our current drivers
here. In MAX, check that you are using the correct camera file by right clicking on Channel 0 and choosing "Open camera..." The camera file you want should be shipped with the camera by default and appear in the Program Files-National Instruments-IMAQ-Data folder.
After you've checked these things, I would then try to check the board in a different computer or possibly with a different camera. Let me know how it goes!
