HI,
I am using redlake ES2093 camera for capturing TV pattern images using apptern generator. I am using the vsync signal(60Hz) output from the pattern generator for triggering the camera. I have PCI 1428 card for camera.I have done following settings in the MAX
Output format = Single Tap
Trigger Source = External BNC (since I am applying the VsYNC signal to camera head as triggersource)
Trigger Mode = Edge controlled
Integration time = 16 ms.
Gain = 1db
When I Click the grab option I can see images.
Now I have few questions here. If I am getting images in both snap and grab with these settings, does this mean my caemra is triggered??
If NO what should I do to check that.
If YES, When I change the intgeration time above the 16 ms I get timeout error. I tried increasing the frame timeout. but it's not working.
Help Me.

The fact that you see a timeout confirms that you are in triggered mode. As an easy test, just disconnect the trigger line and see if you get a timeout.
Since you are using a 60 Hz VSYNC signal, your camera gets a trigger
every (1000 ms/60) 16.666 ms. So when your integration time becomes longer, you
get a timeout as you miss the next trigger pulse. Dont increase the integration
time unless, you see a bad image and certainly keep it under 16 ms.
Hope this helps.
