Can anyone tell me if the Toshiba Teli CS8630ci camera will work with the PC 1405?
The camera specs are here: specification
I already have the camera and the IMAQ card, but they were not purchased together, so I don't know if they are compatible.
I tried hooking up the camera and trying it out with MAX, but so far no success
Thanks...

Hello,
A quick look at the 1405 manual confirms that it support CCIR, as well as other analog camera standards.
This article also confirms it. https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000P6COSA0&l=en-US
If you can see your 1405 in MAX, make sure to right-click it and select the appropriate camera standard (which is essentially selecting a camera file provided by the IMAQ driver.)
I hope this helps!

Tejinder,
Thanks for the reply.
I have the 1405 setup for CCIR, but I get an error "cannot detect recognizable video source". I don't have any other way to verify that the camera is working. Any suggestions?

Dumb question: Did you plug the camera in to the top connector on the 1405? The two connectors look identical, but the bottom connector is for triggers.
Did you connect a power supply to the camera? Can you verify the camera is getting power? Any lights on the camera, etc.? Can you connect the signal to a scope or multimeter or something that can detect a signal? Making sure your camera is sending a signal is a critical detail.
