Triggering influences image quality

When I add the 'Imaq Generate Piulse' VI, the image quality is dropping. A short hint would help my a lot.

Thanks.

What is the difference in the images when you add the IMAQ Generate Pulse.vi? Have you tried to change the mode of the pulse? We don't have any documented incidents of the pulse generation decreasing image quality. Is this pulse driving a line on your camera or something else?

I try to use the trigger signal for a high power laser which must be synchronized which the capture. The signal can be a rearmed or a single pulse. I start the trigger at every begin of a frame. The trigger signal is transfered to the external line 1.

The observed phenomena is that the image isn't smooth anymore. It seemed that the graylevel is limited to a certain level, so that there appear jumps in the image. The same thing happen when I use the drive signal tool.

For more information, we use the 1422 Frame grabber card and a Kodak ES1.0. Frame rate is 29 images/sec.
LabVIEW 6.0 and Vision 6.0.

The program code was summited in the last posting.
If you need a screenshot, please let me know.
Unfortunately I already demounted the setup today.

Tha
nk you for your effort.

There is nothing wrong with your code. There might be something wrong with your 1422. You should call in and talk to someone so we can take care of this problem.
You can create a phone support service request number at www.ni.com/ask.

p.s. You can tell them that I recommended you call in.
