I just purchased the Basler ace acA3800-14uc camera and am trying to use it with machine vision in labview. I have Labview 2012 and just updated my vision drivers to IMAQdx 15.0 which I believe is supported by my version of Labview. The camera says that it conforms with USB3 vision and NI says that USB3 vision cameras are supported by IMAQdx 4.2 and later. However, when I open up the vision assistant, it is unable to find my camera. Any ideas what the problem might be?

Always test the camera in MAX before you try it in LabVIEW. Can you see the camera in MAX? Can you take a picture in MAX?

Hello,
In the tutorial Getting Started with USB3 Vision Cameras and NI Vision Acquisition Software under Software Requirements it is mentioned that NI Vision Acquistion Software August 2013 is required.
I hope this would help you.

I second Bruce and CR's suggestions. First, check that you can see and use the camera in MAX, and then try running shipping examples (In LabVIEW, Help -> Find Examples). CR's link to the guide is a good resource for getting started.
