USB cam stops working after first IMAQ session

I am using also the logitech webcam C250.

And this problem also occur when using windows explorer with the camera.

I think it is that the problem is a typical camera problem, not LabVIEW, not IMAQdx.

 I am working with Windows Xp, and Windows 7 64 bit.

Searching on the web, you will find many similar problems with this webcam.

Although, if NI can solve the problem I would be happy:

the old software NI IMAQ for USB can handle the C250 correctly.

Maybe they can solve it also for IMAQdx.

I have solved the problem: I am using another webcam, Logitech C270

I started a discussion with logitech, made a lot of changes to my laptop, and finally they send me a webcam C270 to test whether the problem would occur also.

so we have replaced all other C250 (16x) by C270

that webcam is even better, a higher resolution.

I am sorry for you that I didn't have a better solution.
