VBAI&CVS "Select Image Setup" problem

Hi there!

After porting my VBAI-application (VBAI 2.5) to the CVS system I discovered something very strange:
the "Select Image Setup" results in an empty/wrong image in "Run once" or "Run in loop" mode; stepping through the inspection works fine. There's no difference between real acquisition and simulated acquisition and as I said this happens only with the CVS system. The execution of VBAI on the development PC is as expected and without errors, so is the to-Labview-migrated code on my PC.
I tried with two different NI-1454 and two different cameras (AVT-Marlin & TheImagingSource DFK31) as well as with several images of different sizes.

Attached is a screen shot as well as a VBAI-exported code-excerpt that should show this error. Hopefully someone can reproduce this behavior and give me a hint, as today should be the system's delivery .. 😞

Marc, I think you run into this problem because the Vision Assistant step in Vision Builder AI 2.5 does not properly create a destination image when running on the CVS. So the Select Image step does not find the image that you selected to go back to. I attached to this post a fix for the VBAI 2.5 Vision Assistant step on the CVS.

- Copy the attached file to your \National Instruments\RT Images\Vision Builder AI\2.5.0\Plugins folder (backup the original file)
- Re-install the CVS software: open Vision Builder AI, click "Select Network Target...", select your target and click the Configure button. In the Remote Target Configuration Wizard>>Step 3 of 3, click the “Update Target Software” checkbox and OK the dialog.
