Vision Builder AI and C/C++ help, cnc machine

Hello,

We're are planning on getting a cnc machine and hooking up our NI camera to it. We want to do

the image processing on the vision builder software but is it possible to pass the vision builder variables 

to C/C++ ? What other software can vision builder talk to, or is it possible to post the variables on the system

and read them from somewhere else like another programming language?

You can find information about vision builder variables at the following developer zone tutorial. Furthermore, I did some searching and came up with a previous forum post on getting vision builder to communicate with c# (or 3ed party software) in this developer forum link .

In addition, this article shows how to retrieve LabVIEW shared variables (same technology used by Vision Builder AI when you share a variable) from CVI.

thank you very much, unfortunately i ran out of time for the vision builder trial haha,

yes I had seen the shared variables to connect to labview with, 

but I had problems finding how to get the IMAQ controllers, i couldn't find them on labview

or couldn't figure out how to add them to labview
