Gene,
If you are using a FireWire camera, then you will need to install the IMAQdx drivers in addition to the Vision Run-time engine. This is not included with the run-time. The run-time engine is for executables that use functions from the Vision Development Module, which is for processing images. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Is your application just acquiring the images, or is it also doing processing?

Christina,
I am using a FireWire camera and I will be doing processing. I also have LabView 8.6 debugger installed. Is it then correct that the debugger does not have the IMAQdx drivers also? Does the professional LabView 8.6 have these drivers or do I have to spring for an additional $300+ for these? Thank you for your assistance.

Gene,
The IMAQdx drivers come with the Vision Acquisition software package. This comes with the Vision Development Module, which is used for image processing. Are you only planning to run existing code, or will you be editing the code at all (or wanting to write new code)? If you are only running existing code, then you will need the Vision Run-Time Engine and the IMAQdx drivers on each computer that will be running the code. If you will be developing code, you will need the Vision Development Module (which comes with the drivers) on any computer where you will be editing code. Take a look at this KnowledgeBase article for more information.
