So here’s the story, I was putting my application on a station at a remote location and I noticed they had a good vision runtime license number and acquisition on the machine, Since my application uses 2009, I went ahead and installed 2009 acquisition and runtime. At my company site we put the stickers with the license numbers on the front of the machines, but it wasn't done at this remote location. After installing my applications I noticed Image acq and vision runtime needed registration, that's when I noticed the SERIAL NUMBERS HAD BEEN DELETED! They were in License Manager before, now they're gone! We track most of our serial numbers at the home location, and I have a list of most of them, but several of them I know not where they are deployed and these were never logged, so now I am out the cost of both licenses and have to buy all new ones for this machine. Please help!

Hi,
Don't worry- we have all of your serial numbers on file and can look them up for you. Also, this does happen when you are upgrading to a new version, as sometimes the serial number will be different. Go ahead and create a service request online: ni.com/ask and the support team will be happy to assist you.
Cheers,
Marti
